GOOP!!!!!

Standard

Oh the wonderful wonderful world of cornstarch…how come i have only just found you! Having so much fun with variations of cornstarch. Made lovely colored sand a couple of weeks ago, used the cornstarch with paint to make a funky dough…and yesterday and today we used cornstarch to make goop. (once again ..thanks to www.growingajeweledrose.com for the inspiration!).

The boys loved the goop…the texture is amazing..kinda solid..kinda liquid…dig your fingers in, make a ball and watch it slide between your fingers. it’s solid yet liquid and just so much fun, i had a tough time keeping my hands out of it! Today i added some beetroot water to it since i had it lying around after boiling beets.

Oh..and talking of color here is something else that brought more color into our already full of paint and color home…we discovered rainbow pasta!!! I am planning an Art Party for Amu’s first birthday…just the boys and one or two friends who live nearby and i thought it might be fun to take the theme into the food…rainbow pasta was the first thing that came to mind. I was wondering where to buy it form when i figured it should be fairly simple to make. And it was. Here’s how we went about it:
